The college is the reward we get for surviving high school.
My reward - the NIT Raipur college campus is spared over an area of 100 acres, insufficient to have hostels built to accommodate all its students.These students keep cursing the authorities time to time for this reason.

It's claimed that NITRR has the largest main entrance (the one you see in the picture above) among all the engineering institutes of the nation. Of course it may be true, but we have always wondered whether it really makes sense.

Ya, the title? The students don't need any explanation. For others, leme apprise you that every fest held in the college is central India's largest fest (though we later came to know that every institute of the central India claims this). 
Nevertheless, the fests are the only time when the institute deserves to be called a college.

Keeping all the tons of curses apart, all of us know that the college life in its own ways stands out in the Safarnama.

  "Pata nahi kya jadoo hai college life mein…
jahan anjaane milte hai aur dost ban jaate hai…zindagi bhar ke liye…aur aise- waise dost nahi… kutte dost.”

Staying in a single place for so long offers you a chance to closely observe the livelihood of the natives and practically acknowledge diversity as a bridge that segregates YET links our cultures and unites us as a nation. Kerala is one of those states which is inhabited by less mortals, but abundance of nature.   4 th June : Beypore beach Back in Calicut, on an unusually bright sunny Saturday, Thakur and I set out to Beypore 32 kms south dressed up in beachwear. The Beypore port is one of the oldest ports of Kerala and only the second biggest after Cochin. The beach is sidelined by huts of local fishermen and their families and scattered with stalls of snacks and eatables bustling with visitors by the evening. As the beaming noon started mutating into a balmy evening, we trooped through around a kilometer and half of the pulimuttu, a walkway stretching to the sea. After a couple of minutes, while Thakur was turning impatient and wanted to turn back around and return, I stressed on holding back up until the sunset. Throughout the complete journey, I had this silent undertaking of not leaving anything I desired for later to regret .
